Calling gaming enthusiasts of all ages! Join friends and friendly competitors alike for games of strategy, chance, and fun. Bring your own game or choose from the library’s collection of chess sets, card games, board games, role playing games, and more. Chess instruction is available the first Monday of each month from 3-4 pm.
2. Cornhole Night @ Millennial Brewing - Tuesday, February 18th @ 6-9pm
Come down to Millennial every Tuesday for our weekly Cornhole Night! Featuring money games, blind draw tournament, prize games and tons of fun! All ages, casual environment and all indoors! Presented in partnership with our friends at Back of the House Cornhole!
3. Family Storytime @ Lakes Regional Library - Wednesday, February 19th @ 10-10:30am
Birth to 5 years and caregivers
This fun and engaging storytime promotes and reinforces early literacy skills and language development through stories, music, movement and activities.
Parents and caregivers participate with their children while learning helpful early literacy strategies and tips to continue at home.
4. Help Me Grow - Books, Balls, and Blocks @ Fort Myers Regional Library - Thursday, February 20th @ 10:30-12:30pm
We are partnering with Healthy Start of SWFL/Help Me Grow to bring this special Books, Balls, and Blocks (BBB) program to the library. This program includes a free screening for families with children birth to five years of age. Children can participate in in a craft activity while parents complete the screening to ensure their children are developmentally on track. Parents will also be provided with resources for activities they can do at home with their children. This will be a fun and engaging program for children and informative and helpful to their parents!
This program is for children ages 2-5
5. Playdough Playtime - Friday, February 21st @ 10:30-11am
Get ready for a hands-on, squishy good time at Playdough Playtime! This fun and creative library program invites kids to explore the world of playdough through sensory play, imagination, and colorful creations. We'll provide the playdough and tools, and kids can roll, shape, and sculpt their way to endless fun!
